VR-576 Rare 2 weight Late Biedermeir with Piecrust Bezel

Two-weight Vienne Regulators with single piece dials and pie-crust bezels from the late Biedermeier period are very rare. This example is in phenomenal condition. I particularly like the carved triim to the top and bottom of the door, as well as the inlaid stringinig. Note too the fantastic mechanism. Very unusual to find mechanism plates with the curved tops. The number "576" that shows up in the dial shot is written on the door glass and will wipe off easily. But, it does help me keep track of the 3 or 400 clocks in my inventory. Note the excellent case condition, metal pendulum rod, original key, and perfect little pulleys with their amazingly thin wheel spokes, brass-backed bob, exquisite mechanism – a very nice clock. 37 x 11.5 inches.
